The main feature of this suite is user-authentication - verifying the identity of a person attempting to gain access to a Web-based resource. GemAuthenticate is an easily to deploy, distributed system that offers a wide range of user-validation alternatives known as authentication methods. Each system user accessing a web resource must have a Smart Card for:

• secure authentication of online customers
• accessing their financial data
• online retail shoppers accessing exclusive member sites
• any online system requiring security or loyalty

GemAuthenticate also provides features such as user-monitoring, access control and user-experience personalization. The latter function enables system architects to tailor and enrich each cardholder’s personal online experience.
